This Privacy Policy describes the practices of Peace X Peace regarding information
collected from visitors to and Members of the Peace X Peace Web Site and Women Stand
With Iraq Web Site. It describes what information is collected, how that information
is used and under what circumstances, if any, the information is disclosed to others.
You are authorized to use the Peace X Peace Web Site only if you agree to this Privacy
Policy. PLEASE NOTE: Your use of this Web Site constitutes your acceptance of this
Privacy Policy.
We may modify this Privacy Policy from time to time, and when we do, we will post
on the Peace X Peace Web Site, and Women Stand With Iraq Web Site, a notice that
the Privacy Policy has been modified. Any modification will be effective on the
effective date that appears on the modified Policy. Your continued use of the Web
Site following modification of the Privacy Policy will be conclusively deemed to
signify your acceptance of the modification.

Peace X Peace uses server log analysis tools to gather statistics regarding our
Web Site's usage, such a the number of hits received, our most/least visited pages,
errors experienced by users and browsers and platforms used to connect to our Web
Site. The following are examples of information about your visit that is, or may
be, collected for this analysis:
- The Internet Protocol (IP) address and domain used. (The IP address is a numerical
identifier assigned either to your Internet service provider or directly to your
computer.)
- Your user name.

- The date and time you visited this Web Site.

- The action you tried to perform (e.g., get a document or post content)

service providers, for example, those who support our Web Site functionality.
2. INFORMATION YOU VOLUNTEER.
Peace X Peace may collect, store and use any personal and non-personal information
you volunteer. Personal information is information that identifies or describes
you, including but not limited to your name, address, telephone number and e-mail
address. You may also provide demographic information, such your age, religion,
nationality or language spoken, and information about your interests. You may also
provide financial information, such as your credit card type, number and expiration
date. Peace X Peace processes information on its servers in the United States.
Peace X Peace may use the information you provide to deliver the services you have
requested, for example:
If you become a Member and supply us with your e-mail address, we may send you our
e-newsletters, Week X Week and Peace Times. If you ask to be matched with another
Peace X Peace Member or to start or join a Sister Circle, we do not share your e-mail
address with others, but we will use it to forward communications to you that we
receive from other Members. We may also use your e-mail address to respond to messages
you send us.
If you subscribe to the Women’s Global Roundtable, or make a donation, or purchase
a product or other service, we may use the credit card information you provide to
bill you for the product or service you have requested.
Please note that the blog publishing service we use is Blogger, a service of Google,
Inc. If you create a blog using this service, Google may solicit and collect personally
identifiable information from you, and you will be subject to Google’s Terms of
Service and Privacy Policy, not those of Peace X Peace. If we use another blog publishing
service in the future, you will be subject to its Terms of Service and Privacy Policy,
not those of Peace X Peace.
Peace X Peace may use the information you provide as part of one of our Web Site
features, for example:
If you provide your name, a photograph or other information in the course of contributing
a story, in text form for Story X Story, or in audio form for Voice X Voice, we
may post that information on our Web Site.
Peace X Peace may also use the information you provide to operate and maintain this
Web Site and to improve our content, services and communications with you.
If you are visiting our Web Site from a country outside the United States, you acknowledge
and agree that in using the Peace X Peace Web Site and/or the Women Stand With Iraq
Web Site, you may transfer information about yourself to the United States, that
the data protection laws of the United States may not be as comprehensive as those
in your own country and that the transfer of this information occurs with your consent.
3. DISCLOSURE TO THIRD PARTIES OF INFORMATION YOU VOLUNTEER
Peace X Peace does not sell or rent the personally identifiable information we collect
to any third party. We may share it with our authorized service providers, for example,
those who support our Web Site functionality, or who process credit card transactions
for us. We may also disclose your personally identifiable information in response
to a subpoena or court order, or in response to a request from a law enforcement
or other government agency, to establish or exercise our legal rights or to defend

If you have registered as a Peace X Peace Member, you may review and request changes

Time.
5. UNSOLICITED E-MAIL
At any time, you can “opt out” of receiving e-mail messages from Peace X Peace promoting
our services, by contacting us at the address below. It may take us ten (10) days
to process you request. We may send you messages regarding your membership, subscription,
the purchase by you of goods or services from Peace X Peace, or other transactional
or relationship messages, without offering you the opportunity to opt out of receiving
them.
6. CHILDREN
The Peace X Peace Web Site and Women Stand With Iraq Web Site is intended for adults.
Accordingly, we do not knowingly collect information from children under the age
of thirteen.
7. SECURITY
Peace X Peace maintains reasonable security procedures and practices appropriate
to the nature of the personal information you provide, to protect it from unauthorized
access, destruction, use, modification and disclosure; and we require that our authorized
service providers that have access to your personal information implement and maintain
such security procedures and practices. For example, we use industry-standard tools
such as firewalls to protect your personal information; we host our servers in a
physically secure environment; and when you provide personal information through
this Web Site, we use a secure socket layer (SLL) connection to enhance security
by means of encryption. Please note that no security measures are 100% effective
against hackers.
